The state agriculture department in Blakely GA found areas where rust could fall into food, rodent sized gaps in warehouse doors, unmarked bottles and spray containers, and many other violations.Takeaway #3
The salmonella outbreak is linked to 7 deaths and has sickened almost 500 people. 125+ products containing the peanut paste or peanut butter from this plant has been recalled. Large bulk peanut butter containers and institutional containers with Parnell's Pride and King Nut labels have also been pulled.
